The past can glimmer and beckon to us. Sometimes we long for it, and it can seem even more beautiful than it was. We can't help but infuse thoughts of people and places and experiences we loved with a sweet melancholy. It's a mellow sweetness we can taste many, many times over.

This piece is rich with metallic gold, making photographing it a challenge. As you change viewing angles, its shimmers and gleams change, too. Please view the detail photos because they will give you a better idea of its in-person magic.
