I make these drawings with a luscious sludge of ink blended with acrylic and a thick white gesso. It rumples the paper as the drawing unfolds. Each one is spontaneous, an exercise in responding in the moment. What emerges usually surprises me, but take a look at them alongside my series Temple Bell. You'll see a glimpse of the inner territory I'm exploring.
